ISO (International Organization of Standardization) is the source of the ISO 9000 and ISO 14000 families of quality and environmental management standards. It’s a network of national standards institutes from 148 countries working in partnership with international organizations, governments, industry, business and consumer representatives.
In June 2010 Ciparo B.V. acquired the ISO 9001:2008 and ISO 14001:2004 certification. This means that our management systems for the purchase, sales and logistics of recyclable raw materials and semi-finished products (paper and plastics) are in accordance with the latest international standards, and registered by ISO. For us it’s recognition of our best efforts to enhance customer satisfaction and minimize harmful effects on the environment.

FNOI
‘
The FNOI (Federatie Nederlandse Oudpapier Industrie) is an independent branch organization set to protect the interests of those companies involved in the recyclable paper industry. Due to technological developments and the growing importance of environmental questions in this particular industry, it is necessary to have a branch representative. With 95% of the industry’s companies as members the FNOI is a credible partner in meetings with ministries, regional authorities as well as with other organizations. Also, a growing amount of FNOI-members is registered by ISO. The branch has its own environmental-care system.
